The Programming Associate liaises between our radio hosts and our executives; they are the primary contact for radio hosts. Programming Associate will primarily be responsible for maintaining, quality radio programming by: ensuring hosts have been registered and trained according to our standards, reviewing and monitoring our broadcast quality, updating our broadcast schedule, supporting radio hosts in meeting their broadcasting goals, and assisting in workshop training. The programming associate will be working with a dynamic team of creative individuals to fulfill their duties. May be asked to attend special events. Training will be provided. Semester merit bonuses may be available.



  • 8-10 hours per week

We’re looking for:

  • A candidate with a passion for radio and entertainment, who is able to work in a team setting

  • Experience working with students and/or community not-for-profit organizations

  • Familiarity with the University of Toronto Scarborough Campus, and the history/services of our radio station

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong passion for community conversations, events, and student life

  • Experience in performance, programming, arts management and/or the music industry is an asset but not essential

  • Previous music, audio, and broadcasting experience is an asset (Not Mandatory)

  • Previous experience in marketing, media, and promotions is an asset (Not Mandatory)

  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), as well as Google Docs and Sheets
