Zachary Osborn, Music Associate, Radio FWD

Born and raised in Toronto, Ontario, Zachariah Highgate has spent the last nine years honing his skills as a rapper, singer, songwriter, and performer. As a black, indigenous, and goan artist with a unique sound and style, Zachariah has faced difficulties merging into the music industry. His music speaks on his difficulties traversing interpersonal relationships and finding personal happiness. Growing up on the “Waiting to Exhale” soundtrack as well as influential songstresses Toni Braxton and Mariah Carey fortified his love for R&B long ago. The genre’s influence remains evident in the music he continues to release today. Zachariah’s music not only recognizes his personal struggles, but also sheds light on his hopes for the future. In addition to being a recording artist, he is also a University of Toronto graduate, a web-series producer, a published writer, and an aspiring model. Zachariah is currently working on his debut studio project while performing across the city and filming a new docu-series.
